SD Screwdrivers Provide
the Key to Greater Productivity Reliable and durable
- New motor design typically runs for more than
3 million cycles before needing routine service.
High speed-to-torque ratio - The new motor and
attention to the porting of the air inlet and
exhaust have resulted in an increase in power
and speed of 30-140% for a given torque in most
applications. The range includes 7 speeds (320
to 3500 rpm) with torques from 1 to 16 Nm. Operator
Comfort - The SD tools are generally as compact
as tools that produce half the torque, making
the tool easier to maneuver onto the fastener.
Quality of Assembly - Tests to ISO5393 show that
the SD shut off tools provide torque repeatability
of ± 6% at ± 3 sigma. The clutch adjustment is
tamperproof to prevent adjustment after calibration.
The new SD series feature the straight case screwdrivers,
push or lever start with options of shut off clutches.
